OUR PURCHASING PHILOSOPHY

Here at Maine Wicked Goods, our philosophy is to buy inventory at reasonable prices to sell them at reasonable  prices, so that everyone who walks in the door can find something to love and afford. Though we do not pay retail pricing for goods, we do purchase them in a way that everyone is satisfied. Here are a few things to consider:

• We do not take consignments.
• We are always looking for unusual or quirky items, especially those items not found in our current inventory. 
• We have a large inventory of glass and china. 
• We like to acquire antique furniture.
• We have to buy at wholesale pricing in order to cover overhead costs and the cost of space items take up if they don’t sell immediately.
• We try to be very fair with all our purchase pricing. If you took something to consignment or auction, you’d be paying a premium to the seller. We don’t charge premiums and that gets reflected in our purchase price.

• We receive many requests and make every effort to answer each one.
• If we are interested in your items, we will contact you as soon as we can.
